In accordance with the Code of Federal
Regulations Title 49 172.704(c) (ii) (2-4) recurrent
training must be completed at least once every three years
to be in compliance for Hazmat handling.
PSI Visual Inspection Training complies with
this regulation by issuing training certificates valid for
only three years, therefore you as a PSI trained inspector
must comply by receiving recurrent training once every three
years.
In order to purchase and use PSI EOI
stickers you must have current training (within the last 3
years).
You may take update training at many of
the various shows that PSI/PCI attends throughout the year.
You can also consult with a local Instructor to set up
Update or full Refresh training. If you are near to
the 3 year window end, you may also obtain the update CD
from PSI/PCI to review and take the update exam to remain
within compliance.
