By now many of you may have received an email from the President of TDI/SDI/ERDI
alleging that PSI-PCI is expelling any PSI-PCI instructor who is also a TDI/SDI/ERDI Visual Cylinder Instructor. More importantly, their implication is that any PSI-PCI inspector who is also a TDI/SDI/ERDI affiliate is being expelled from PSI-PCI program.
This misinformation is patently false and the purpose of this notice is to let you know the facts.
The fact is that the content of the TDI/SDI/ERDI VIP program and the PSI-PCI programs are not congruent and there is a significant ethical problem in trying to represent two different standards as an instructor. As you can see from the PSI-PCI administrative letter that was published with the TDI/SDI/ERDI email, PSI-PCI did not summarily expel the instructor in question. What we did was ask the instructor to contact us per PSI-PCI Instructor Standards within 30 days. He did not. To date he has not been expelled.
We welcome PSI-PCI inspectors to take other courses as well. Those who do will see for themselves the significant difference that PSI-PCI training makes and realize the superior quality of PSI-PCI training.
You can be rest assured that we will continue to support our trained PSI-PCI Inspectors and have no plans or desire to remove you from our program based on your affiliation with another training agency. We welcome your questions or feedback.
